STUDENT MEDICAL SUMMIT 

Authors should complete only one of the following abstract forms, selecting the format most appropriate to their presentation: Case Report, Case Series, Original Paper, or Short Report

 

Each form already contains the required headings and structure; authors should place their content under the relevant headings and ensure that the title of the presentation, author names, and author affiliations are clearly completed.

 

If there are no conflicts of interest, authors may state: “No Declarations of Conflicts of Interest declared.”

 

Any financial conflicts of interest must be fully disclosed.

 

All abstracts must be submitted in one single Word document, using Calibri font (size 12) with 1.15 line spacing.

 

All abstracts will be reviewed by the IMJ Editor prior to publication. The Irish Medical Journal (IMJ) reserves the right to make editorial changes or to reject abstracts that are not considered scientifically sound. Authors will be informed of any changes made before publication.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the relevant edition of the journal and will be permanently archived on the IMJ website at: https://imj.ie/abstract-archive/

 

Authors are encouraged to review previously published abstracts on the archive for guidance and reference.
